Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Cubdoku ("the App," "we," "us") is a single-player logic puzzle game for iOS and Android, published by MLG Tech Solutions Inc. ("Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

How to request data deletion

The short version: Cubdoku has no user accounts, no login, and no cloud save. Your puzzle progress, settings, statistics, and collection live only on your device, in a local database. The App does use a small number of third-party services — to show ads, process an optional purchase, understand product usage in aggregate, and catch crashes — each described below by name.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

Cubdoku does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, or any other personal information to play. There is no chat, no user-generated content, and no social features.

If you choose to make the optional "Remove Ads" purchase, payment details are collected and processed entirely by Apple's App Store / Google Play's billing systems and RevenueCat (see §2.2) — Cubdoku itself never sees or stores your payment information.

If you contact us directly (e.g. for support), we will have whatever information you choose to include in that message.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Gameplay data, stored locally on your device only, never transmitted to us or any server: completed levels, in-progress puzzle state, settings, coin balance, unlocked/equipped cubs, daily-puzzle streak history, and play statistics.
  • Product analytics events (via PostHog, iOS only): anonymous, non-account-linked usage events such as "level started" and "level completed." Android version 1.0.3 and later does not send gameplay analytics to PostHog.
  • Crash and error reports (via Sentry, iOS only): technical diagnostic information (stack traces, device model, OS version, app version) captured automatically if the App crashes or hits an unexpected error. Android version 1.0.3 and later does not send reports to Sentry.
  • Advertising data (via Google AdMob): on iOS, the IDFA only after you explicitly grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Android version 1.0.3 and later does not request the Android Advertising ID. Android ads are currently paused; if enabled, ad requests are family-appropriate and non-personalized. AdMob may still process limited technical data needed to deliver an ad and prevent abuse. Earlier Android versions may request the Advertising ID.
  • Purchase/entitlement status (via RevenueCat): whether you've purchased "Remove Ads," used to unlock that feature and support "Restore Purchases."

Cubdoku does not collect your precise GPS location, contacts, photos/camera, microphone, or any device sensors beyond what the SDKs above use for their stated purpose.

2. Third-Party Services We Use

2.1 Google AdMob (advertising)

Used to show interstitial ads between puzzles and optional rewarded video ads where ads are enabled. Android ads are currently paused. If enabled on Android version 1.0.3 or later, the App requests only G-rated, non-personalized, child-directed ads for all players, including those whose age we do not know. See Google's Privacy Policy.

2.2 RevenueCat (purchase processing)

Used to process and validate the optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase and to support "Restore Purchases." RevenueCat receives purchase/transaction data and an anonymous, app-generated identifier — not your name or email. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

2.3 PostHog (product analytics)

Used on iOS to understand, in aggregate, how players use Cubdoku so we can improve the game. Events are tied to an anonymous installation identifier, not your identity. Disabled on Android in version 1.0.3 and later. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.

2.4 Sentry (crash and error monitoring)

Used on iOS to automatically capture crash reports and unexpected errors so we can find and fix bugs. Disabled on Android in version 1.0.3 and later. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.

2.5 Meta / Facebook App Events SDK (advertising, optional)

If enabled on iOS, shares app-install and in-app event data with Meta for ad measurement after the tracking permission flow. Disabled on Android in version 1.0.3 and later. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

2.6 Expo / EAS (app infrastructure)

Cubdoku is built with Expo and distributed via EAS. See Expo's Privacy Policy.

2.7 Apple App Store / Google Play

Distribution, purchase processing, and app-usage/crash data each platform collects under its own policies: Apple, Google.

3. Push Notifications

Cubdoku can send a single optional local daily-reminder notification if you explicitly enable it in Settings. This is scheduled on your device only — no notification content is sent from or through a server. You can disable this any time in Settings.

4. Your Choices

  • Ad personalization consent (EEA/UK and other regulated regions): revisit any time via Settings → "Ad Privacy Choices."
  • App Tracking Transparency (iOS): change your answer any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Notifications: opt-in only, can be turned off at any time.
  • Haptics and sound: on by default, can be turned off in Settings.
  • Color Assist: an accessibility option, off by default.

5. Children's Privacy

Cubdoku is a puzzle game for players aged 9 and up, including children. Android version 1.0.3 and later treats every ad request as child-directed because we do not ask players for their age. If ads are enabled, they are non-personalized and G-rated; the App does not request the Android Advertising ID. Android gameplay analytics, Meta measurement, and Sentry reporting are disabled in that version. No account or personal details are required to play. An optional purchase, where offered, is handled by Google Play and RevenueCat, using an anonymous purchase identifier and transaction data; a parent or guardian should supervise purchases. Parents can contact us at the address below to ask about data or request deletion.

6. Data Retention

On-device data is retained until you uninstall the App or clear its data. iOS analytics events and crash reports, and any such data sent by earlier Android versions, are retained by PostHog and Sentry per their own retention policies. Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat and by Apple/Google as part of normal transaction record-keeping.

7. How to Request Data Deletion

To delete your puzzle progress, settings, statistics, and collection, uninstall Cubdoku or clear its app data on your device. Cubdoku has no account or server-side user database, so these records are not stored by us elsewhere.

To ask about or request deletion of any analytics or crash data associated with your device's anonymous identifier, email techsolutions.mlg@gmail.com with the subject "Cubdoku data deletion" and tell us whether you use iOS or Android. We will explain what data can be located and deleted. Purchase transaction records may need to be kept by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat for billing and legal obligations; contact the relevant app store about its purchase records.

8. Data Security

On-device data is stored in a local database within the App's own sandboxed storage. Data sent to third-party services is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

9. International Data Transfers

Depending on your location and each provider's infrastructure, data described above may be processed in the United States or other countries.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
